The Sun

FORMER It’s a Knockout presenter Stuart Hall today pleaded not guilty to three counts of indecent assault.

The 82-year-old former BBC veteran is accused of indecent assault against three girls aged between eight and 16 committed between 1974 and 1984.

The father-of-two maintains his innocence and when asked at Preston Magistrates’ Court if he understood the charges, he said: “Yes I do. Not guilty to all three charges.”

He is accused of indecent assault against a woman aged 16 in 1974, an eight-year-old in 1983 and a 13-year-old in 1984.

The ex-presenter, who lives in Cheshire, was first arrested at his home by Lancashire Police on December 5.

Hall is no longer working as a football reporter for BBC Radio 5 Live while he faces the allegations.

Spivs Comment

Well he would plead not guilty wouldn’t he. Fuck me if the girls were making it up, I’m sure they would have chosen someone more famous than him. In fact, I would imagine that in 2012, the girl who was 8yrs old in 1983, is unlikely to know who Hall is. The least he could do now is plead guilty.
